Starting with one photo: generate the scene.
This site asks for a photo of a pet or consenting adult, a duration and a frame shape. It creates a version of the pickup-driver scene and includes the chosen template dialogue. You do not need to film the performance or build a timeline.
Choose 6 seconds for 10 credits or 11 seconds for 20 credits, in 9:16 or 16:9. Credit packs start at $9.99 USD. This is a focused meme generator: it does not provide a general editing timeline, a caption-design panel or a custom soundtrack upload.
Starting with a video: edit the clip you have.
CapCut’s own guides describe importing footage, trimming clips, changing the frame shape and adding captions. Those controls are useful when you already have a video and want to decide where a caption sits or exactly when the clip ends. The official guides linked below show those editing steps.
Importing a photo into an editing timeline is not the same operation as generating this driver performance. Check what a particular tool or template actually produces before paying for it. We have not benchmarked CapCut’s AI output against this generator and do not claim that one has universally better quality or lower cost.
A simple workflow that uses both.
Generate the version you want here and review the finished MP4 first. Check the face, mouth movement and audio before spending time on a caption. If the scene is usable, download it and keep an untouched copy.
Import that copy into your editor. Add a short caption without covering the face, trim only if the joke needs it, and keep the picture and audio together. Export an edited copy and listen again from start to finish. These changes use the file you already have; they do not require another generation on this site.
Choose by the change you want to make.
If your goal is “put my cat behind the wheel,” start with the photo-to-video generator. If it is “add a caption to this finished cat video,” start with an editor. If you want an entirely different performance, neither a simple trim nor a caption will create it.
Editing also has limits: moving an audio track cannot fix every generated mouth shape, and cropping cannot restore a face that changed during generation. Make the smallest change that solves your actual problem, then review the saved output rather than relying on the editor preview alone.
