Can I use myself, a friend or my cat?
You can use your own adult portrait, a consenting adult friend’s photo, or one dog or cat photo. The current public form has one driver photo slot. Uploading a group photo does not let you assign each person to a different character.
A friend should know you are making an AI meme with their likeness before you upload the image. For a pet version, choose a single animal with its face and muzzle visible. The process uses the same duration and frame controls for pets and adult portraits.
Which portrait should I upload?
Use a sharp, well-lit photo with the full face visible and a little room around the head. Avoid sunglasses, a hand across the mouth, a very small face in a wide shot, or a beauty filter that changes the facial features. A recent original image is more useful than a compressed screenshot.
Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP under 10 MB. You do not need a driving photo, the same clothes as the original character, or a video of yourself speaking. The generated scene supplies the pickup and performance, while the photo provides the subject’s appearance.
How do I turn the photo into a video?
Select the photo, choose 6 seconds for the short reaction or 11 seconds for the full template, then pick 9:16 or 16:9. Sign in and check the credit cost before submitting. The short option uses 10 credits and the full version uses 20 credits.
After the request is accepted, follow its status in My videos. The finished MP4 includes the template dialogue. It does not use your real voice, and the form does not offer voice cloning or a custom dialogue box.
What should I check before sending it to the group chat?
Watch the whole clip, especially when the head turns. AI can alter facial details, hands and expressions; it does not guarantee exact identity preservation or perfect lip sync. If the video shows a friend, let them see the result before you share it more widely.
Save the downloaded MP4 and make clear that it is an AI remake when the context could be confusing. Photos are not automatically deleted on a fixed schedule. You can remove uploads and finished videos in Settings → Files; contact support with the task reference to request removal of intermediate images.
